Hi Semory.semory wrote:Here is tutorial it will appear in next version of program under tutorials.
Regarding to the smcimport.py script that you've included in the latest Steven's Gas Machine.
I cant seem to get the texture to be applied for Berserks models automatically. Even though that I've copied the texture to the folder where the SMC file resides.
The model is built out perfectly well except for the texture.
Any idea why this might happens?

Re: Steven's Gas Machine
you must save a blend file first in the same directory before running the script as well. sometimes the textures don't apply right as it sometimes changes from game to game too. i'd have to check myself to verify. BTW, let me know when preorder starts on the PC version of the game so I can preorder it.
i still use xp 32 on my netbook too lol. it's great for some things still.

I created a blend file 001.blend then run the script. It runs all success.semory wrote:you must save a blend file first in the same directory before running the script as well. sometimes the textures don't apply right as it sometimes changes from game to game too. i'd have to check myself to verify. Unfortunately the model is still not textured automatically.
I love your oldskoolness with Win XP
Definitely will keep abreast with the pre order and notify you when it goes live.

Holy Shoot!!!semory wrote:I'll check it out maybe tomorrow. I have a lot of work to do today so maybe tomorrow.
I think that the texture is working well actually.Just my dumb blender comprehension is the issue.
The texture is indeed automatically assigned through the script its just that the texture is consisting of specular/bump maps and it just overwrite the base texture. Hence the untextured look.
Sorry to trouble ya.
