Star Wars: The Clone Wars Adventures

Post by Dazzy »

This is already supported for the models, but im wondering about skeletons/weights. I dunno if the dme file (model file) stores the skeleton data, but here is a random .dme file for testing:

I love these models, I just wish I didnt have to rig them all the time because there is like......... LOADS of models in this game, especially loads of customisation items for custom characters!

I did some searching in the folders and found a file that holds some models' bone names and weight amounts, the file I uploaded is the Old Daka model, and I found this in the file named "BoneMasks"

-<BoneMask name="Char_OldDaka_UpperBody">
<Bone name="spineLower" weight="0.4"/>
<Bone name="spineUpper" weight="0.6"/>
<Bone name="neck" weight="0.8"/>
<Bone name="head" weight="1.0"/>
<Bone name="headPiece" weight="1.0"/>
<Bone name="L_eye" weight="1.0"/>
<Bone name="L_eyeLid" weight="1.0"/>
<Bone name="R_eye" weight="1.0"/>
<Bone name="R_eyeLid" weight="1.0"/>
<Bone name="nose" weight="1.0"/>
<Bone name="lipUpper" weight="1.0"/>

etc, it continues until all upper body bones are listed, though lower body ones arent in this file, it might be in another file somewhere.

EDIT: That was the only bone file, it listed alot of models' upper body bones, but not all of them D:

Oh no, can you send me some files? I was working on something for somebody but the space-saving techniques used in that game made it difficult to extract models from it. I also got Re6 for ps3 and am kind of already familiar with those models files so I might start working on that soon too.
