Re: Bloodborne
Only the bosses!
as is said only for reference
the exploration, lore, items and sekrits you have to do on your own

Re: Bloodborne
You're playing as Nigel Thornberry?!
I've completed my character:
Meet...
Shonequa Chang
Half black, half Chinese and #FABULOUS.
Thanks for the guides, Von, I'll check them out in case I get stuck (which will probably happen really soon ).

Re: Bloodborne
Dammit! I'm so fucking jealous I don't have a PS4!
BTW, does Shonequa actually ? And does she move like a female?

Re: Bloodborne
No, I haven't fully upgraded that skill yet.
She can dash, roll and flip her arms, though.
I think the animations for male/female characters are the same, but not 100% sure.
Btw I think I named her Sonequa, not Shonequa.
Oh well, I'll post more screens later.

Re: Bloodborne
Only once, but then again I haven't done much yet.
The very first beastie, you need to kill it with your bare hands apparently, but Sonequa wasn't ready for that shit.
So she broke a nail and died. Very tragic. But she didn't actually die, she went to this place called the 'Hunter's Dream' (tha hood), where she stole some guns and came back with a fucking VENGEANCE (she was reborn and killed the bitch). Then she went on to kill some more bitches, climbed a ladder and talked to a homie with a nasty cough. After all this, she decided it was time to chill and sat her fat ass down. Die another day... BIATCH!
Receipts:
This game has amazing atmosphere and looks fantastic. The textures aren't super high quality everywhere, but I love the light effects and the design of the city (complete with gothic cathedral-like buildings, abandoned coaches, top hats (lol) and even coffins everywhere). Sound effects are brilliant as well, creepy noises everywhere. Combat has been great so far (well I only killed like 4 enemies, lol). The only thing I REALLY need to get used to is the stamina bar. You need to careful and time you dodges and attacks, otherwise you will deplete the bar and then you're pretty much screwed (unless you can get away for a moment).
This game is going to force me to jump some hurdles, hehehe. I haven't encountered a boss yet, so it's been easy so far, but I know this will change very soon. The game is hella scary. It's also an RPG. I don't play RPG's! Wtf do I need to do with all these stats and shit, I'm so lost.
When Sonequa is ready to continue her adventure, I'll post more screens and stuff.

Re: Bloodborne
That Daz!
That creature, it is very possible to kill it with your fists, just..... takes a bit of time and effort to do so.
And yeah that's how the "Souls" style of combat is. It requires some thinking and strategical placement. Like if you have a very long winded attack animation, it's something you have to commit to whether it hits or not.
