I use "Kids in America" for the chopper music  Might switch it up to "Snake Eater" whenever I find that tape, I know it's there because I've seen Quiet listen to it :pi:

I have Ground Zeroes on my download queue  from the Summer sale so I probably should play that first huh? :? I already missed out on the other MGS games as I was on video game hiatus at the time.

It is quite easily the "best playing videogame" of the entire series by far.

Story and narrative is quite weak given the open-world gameplay, but there are still some notable elements to it that fits into the entire lore and as a setup to Metal Gear.

But yeah, it's all about the gameplay in this one and the amount of detailed and hilarious stuff you can do is amazing.

Definitely have to give Ground Zeroes a go first to understand the story and practically get a sneak peak at what Phantom Pain will offer as the next huge step up to it.

Bravo to Kojima for showing how Japan can actually produce a decent open-world game, and perhaps one that revolutionises certain aspects about the genre too.

I so need to get a few upgrades to my PC so I can play it there.

This was the only Metal Gear I played and knew:

I never quite understood back then how to play the game, I was young, naive and the cartridges we played in Asia were in Japanese. This game was just too advanced for its time, still is good and challenging today. :D
