Yeah, I can't really thing of any potential games just yet that be worth overcoming those initial barriers to entry.

I would think the PS4 has less issues with the PS VR since consoles aren't nearly as divergent.

Isn't Occulus Rift just two screens with some motion controls and casing attached to it
So why would it need requirements this high

And less I talk about the price, the better :fdat:

You can buy 4 Virtual Boys for that price, although I haven't taken the inflation into account but still lol
Hey guys, Marlboro-Chan here

Depends on the amount of processing it does.

If there was any validity I saw in some comments about 60 or 120 fps for two independent screens, and if there's any nature of it doing any form of eye tracking (which I'm not sure) I can understand it has to do more than a computer may need to do just to play a single screen 60fps game... Buttttt..... depends on whether there tech is sharp enough to be optimized.

Yeah, you need high FPS for VR so the specs SORT OF make sense, but that price is just... way too much. I don't really see the appeal of VR as of now, maybe later down the line when it'll actually be cheaper :pi: Right now I still think it's a pricey gimmick like the Kinect was back then

Right, it's going to need some form of killer app / compelling reason for consumers to buy it.
