So, my lead guitarist (I'm a singer in a Metal Band. Think Nathan Explosion from Dethklok) is at E.B. Games (video game store that has since been renamed Gamestop in Canada)
when all of a sudden, he spots this girl and they start talking about video games.

After what seemed like a good 20-30 minutes my guitarist builds up the confidence to say the following:

"I never met a girl so into video games as you are."

to which she responded

"I'm actually a guy."
Now that... is... quite... disturbing.

Actually unnerving comes to mind.

what's your biggest fear?
Mine is stranded in a middle of nowhere. and it almost came true. I was in Vacation in Thailand and stayed in a comfortable inn near kata beach. Suddenly i had a brilliant idea to save money by staying in a hostel that i read about in the internet.Long story short, i checked out from my inn and booked a private city tour cab.
I already had a bad feeling because the driver took me to an empty deserted road and when i arrived at the hostel i was shocked. The hostel turned out to be a villager's house, what looked like a garden in the website, in reality was just a patch of grass. The receptionist was a housewife who barely spoke english and instead of welcoming me, she was just laughing and looking at me as if i were just an idiot. The room rate was higher than what it said in the website. when i was still recovering from my shock, the daughter came with towel still on her head and she was equally rude.
Fortunately the taxi hadn't left yet so i quickly asked the driver to take me back to the beach. Later that day, i learned that the hostel was so far from anywhere that the nearest money changer and store were 6 kilometers away.

Here is the link http://www.phukethostel.com/ . It's now even more misleading than before. If you go to Thailand, stay away from this place Semory.

I spent majority of my time laying on the beach, watching the sunset. On the last day, i took a tour to phi-phi Islands. It was rather unpleasant because the beaches were overcrowded, high tide prevented the boat to dock to a site ( It was a cave if i am not mistaken), and the tour guide was annoying because he tried to be funny by making fun of everyone. Speaking of STD , the tour guide worked as bartender at night and remember seeing the italian guy in our group at a Shemale Bar. Everyone burst into laughter.
I took thaiboxing lesson and really enjoyed it.
I stayed in near Kata which was quieter and had no nightlife except for some small bars. Patong Beach was where the strip clubs and cabaret shows were. So no STD for me.
