how to use szkaradek's catherine importer

i am able to load a model into blender, but how to attach skeleton to the meshes? i tried using the usual method of ctrl p and don't create vertex groups, but it didn't work. any help will be appreciated

Just a wild guess (a screenshot of the problem would've helped) set the armature to "Make Real".

this the model's condition aster i uploaded it to blender. the armature can easily be rotated to fit the model, the problem is how to attach the meshes to the armature.

can you tell me where set 'make armature real" is?
