Problems with Bumps.

Post by Dazzy »

After shrinking the model (to about 0.1) and exporting, converting and opening back in XNA I get problems with the bumps, they look demented looooool
Look:

Why is this? Its like the bump value is increased but it aint anything like that.

I had such a problem once, too, but instead of weird bump effect I got a ridiculously shiny model... :?
Try to import it in Blender and then export back, convert and import in XNALara.
I noticed that the bump effect is more noticeable with the new bump shader. Not that that has anything to do with your problem. :P

D├®j├á vu moment, lol! XD
I had the same problem with your Xiba model (when I was fixing it). I'm trying to remember what I did, but I can't. :P

Try the latest importer script to avoid the bones getting deleted. If it doesn't help, simple recreate the deleted bones. The model must be reimported/exported, there's no other way. ^_^'

Reading that title I thought Dazzy's been whoring himself out again, LOLZ! I think the pervs complained that Ayane was too young to be sexualized so the geniuses at TN decided to give her some wrinkles. :D

How about shrinking the model in Blender itself? Sorry not gonna be of help here, too drunk to be too serious,. Merry *hic* Chrishhtmass to alluvvvv youuuu!!!! :D

Why don't you try 3DS Max? I never got such a problem converting a model (and the zero sized limit bone error in blender is annoying XD). Also, like Love2Raida said, could be just the new shader. When I updated it, a model I had was like that... I had to modify the bumps in order to make him look like before.
