Ripping the Model from a Game - How

Please tell me How you Guys Rip Models from a Game and what do you use to do it, then How do you Port it as a Model through Blender 2.49 into XPS

Ripping a model from a game is dependant on the game. The extraction process is different for each game.

I use Visual Studio 2010; and it takes a year or two to learn enough programming to do so.
Even if you use Python and Noesis, it will still take you at least a year to learn enough about programming, image format, and 3D formats to be able to extract anything.

I thought you just use 3D Ripper and or Ninja Ripper, then select the Game and Rip

I think he means extracting models by using tools which were developed by others. Don't need any programming skills to do that. :P

But you don't get bones and weights with that :) , and that's where all the fun is.

Nice to see you again Love2Raid and your right, im talking about Tools to Rip Static Objects, but making something Poseable, i got someone for that, yet im still waiting on a Pictorial Tutorial from you Love2Raid on How to make things Poseable and ive been waiting for 2 Years. :P

Yeah, games like Saints Row IV don't work with Ninja Ripper, but these programs do work on a lot of games. But in general what we do is wait for someone else to write the tools and when they become available we extract data from a game. Ninja Ripper and other tools like that are for the desperate (if you so badly need models from a game that has no extractor).
