Since the PDF/F2nd tools are out, I'm writing this here (even though most of the people here already knew :P)

I'm converting every single Meiko outfit from both games :XD:

Is there any rhyme or reason behind the model files for PDF2? Or do you have to just look at a picture of the outfit and find the parts manually? Thought I'd try my hand at it since there's a boatload of outfits but it's a little overwhelming trying to mix and match the proper parts (though it's also cool you can mix and match to an extent).

Well the numbers usually match up (006 could match up with 206, 406, 606... the 06 is the number that usually corresponds to the correct file).

Herpaderp. I missed that. I was even writing down the part numbers (for batch loading). Didn't notice because I used wrong hands so the numbers didn't match up.

Of course the damn thing won't export the textures with the model now. Was doing it this morning

Edit: What process are you guys using to export/import to get the model into blender? I can put the model together as instructed in the Xentax thread with the tools but it always winds up with the different faces smashed into one mesh.

Export as fbx, import into 3ds max, export as mesh.ascii.
BTW which model are you porting?

Just practicing with a Miku model right now. Don't want to call dibs or whatever as right now I can't get the mesh.ascii export script to actually export (gives an error and the middle finger). Probably something easy to fix but I'm tired and cranky so maybe I can get it to work tomorrow.

Ah ok.
I used an old version of the mesh.ascii script, the latest seems to give the error and stop exporting, while the old one gives the error, but still exports (basically ignoring the error anyway)
