Assassin's Creed to XPS: Extraction tutorial

Not sure if anyone here is interested, but I've decided to post it on the forum as well.

How to extract models from Assassin's Creed and import them in XPS. Mind that the exported characters are static, so you will need to rig them yourself if you want to pose them.

No voice recorded, allergy + shyness = MEH

The video is 21 minutes long, but you can move forward in certain parts since some things are repeated.

I also included a text file with some important notes that you should read first.

With that said, in order to export the characters you need a program called ArchiveX and you can download it from here.

The tool is free and you can get it for both 32 and 64 bit.

Note: Apparently the tool is made to work on win 7 and 8, so I suppose you won't be able to run it properly if you have Vista. I tried once, but I was getting some weird errors all the time.

The same method apparently works for MP characters as well.

Yeah I thought it was not possible, didn't know the MP characters were already under my nose  though they seem a bit harder to get.

Anyway Dazzy, I can eventually send you some MP model myself if you want.

Dazzy, I noticed the MP characters have more than one mesh for the clothes and such. Since I didn't play the multiplayer yet, could you give me some screenshots of the models you would need? :D

:oh: Of course! Yea they have different outfits, you can customise them :D Ill just give you one model to get for now :) If you can get the alternate textures for it that would be great (the default also has colour alternates, like a dark version you can unlock) or if you can get her alternate hair meshes that would be awesome too :D

Thats her official render, if you need better views, ill try and find some :)
