Thank you for this information. Have stopped my XPS script development.

Unfortunately, the Mod Tool "wcc_lite" can not extract the models poseable. The parenting is missing. ;)
That's why I has developed a script for Noesis, which resolves this issue. :pi:

The models are poseable, just without parenting which is easily fixable.

Thanks for this script! Reparenting so many bones (for a newbie) is a nightmare.

Speaking of newbie, I'm missing something here. The script is for noesis but I'm not "getting" how it works. Is it supposed to convert the "uncooked" game files or do I need to convert them to fbx with the wcc_lite and then load/export with noesis?

Right.
1. Uncook
2. Convert to .fbx
3. Load the .fbx into Noesis and Export it as .mesh.ascii ... using the fmt_TW3_to_XPS script Version 1.1
4. Rotate with XPS 11.1 the "root ground" bone to Z -180┬░
5. Convert it to Charater.mesh ( or Outfit.mesh) with "Modify--Save GenericItem ..." --> "Modify Armature According To The CurrentPose"

I have written a readme viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1273 with a "step by step" instruction.

BTW:
Triss alternate Outfit ... DLC 6 ... some thing is missing here:

there are problems with the skeletons. I tried to see the model of Caranthir and one of the neck bone is out of place. plus the tuxture ship wild hunt has mapped incorrectly.
