ok, move the idx and bin file to a new folder, something like c:\dw8
doesn't have to be that name, but it is what i do since the rest of the files are not important.
once you do that, i must give you next tool. i just updated this tool to support dw8 empires, and i shall warn you...

to extract 14 GB of data that contains over 140,000+ files, takes several hours. i'll upload updated tool in about an hour with pics.

I got the models but a lot of them have glitches on their clothes . As for the guy's hairs , their ponytails look like someone chopped it off lmao . I don't know if there are other original models but I found them in folders 1033-1276 and DLC's from 13918-14347 . I didn't find Xun Yu but I could be tripping after looking through soooooo many folders lol .

That's normal, which is why DW models are said to be a pain to work with xD They miss the physic parts, which is generally cloth or hair.

Actually it's not just the guy's hairs that look chopped off, it actually applies to everyone with long hair lol . And nvm , I don't think it's the clothes glitching , I think it's just the hairs wrapped around parts of the body .

And wow , how did you fix them Dazzy ?

The clothes are glitching, there is no hair wrapping around xD
To fix them you need to recreate the cloth or hair, basically by creating meshes and uv wrapping them to fit how they should look.
