Site E-mails

Hi guys,
Because someone had forgotten their password, I had to enable the forum to send e-mails, which requires an SMTP server (a mail server). I didn't want to run one on the server (as it's just another thing that could possibly get hacked), so I used my gmail account. So in the interest of transparency on privacy issues, there are several repercussions in using my gmail (or in using any other SMTP server as well):
1.) You will start to receive annoying forum e-mails. You can turn these off in the control panel. Turn them on if you forget your password.
2.) I can now see who's PMing who. I can't see your messages but I can see your PM titles. (Hentai, what's this about Chocob00bs lol?)
3.) I now have a shitload of new contacts on my gmail list lmao.
4.) I can now see when people get notifications for thread watches and stuff like that (Sandy, you watch Off-Topic lol?).
5.) I can now see temporary passwords that are assigned to you when the forum resets your passwords.
So no real bad privacy issues here, but I had e-mails initially shut off because I knew about 1.) - 5.) in advance when I transferred all the stuff from the old forum and I know how annoying forum e-mails can be, but password resets can only be handled in PHPBB through e-mails. Comments and suggestions are welcome.
