Digital Foundry has been doing a Retro related series of late and of course, none other than Shenmue was also featured.

Offers a nice brief and technical history about the game and why it was so important.

I doubt an official HD remaster, if it will ever happen, will look that clean and sharp.

This... looks a bit rough, to be honest I hope they at least improve the faces

But the game is still like a year and half away till release, so hopefully there will be some massive improvements. And at least something actually exists now.

Add to the fact that JAHPAN + UE4 = such totally quairty character models in general, not to mention that this is still a small team as well.

Looks like Shenmue 1 and 2 will eventually come to PS4, XBO and PC sometime soon.

Good! Because that means my original DC copies can stay on the shelf for good wit htheir newly acquired box protectors.

Interesting to see that the Military Surplus store still exists.
