Guys, can we increase the avatar file size to at least 100 kb? 60 kb is just too small even for 175x175. Thanks!

I've managed to stay below 60kb for 175x175 still image avatars, have you used jpg? They stay below 60kb whenever I use it.

you can try now. set it to 102,400 bytes. 100 KB.

It's not truly an avatar until I can cram a gif of Planet of the Apes into a 250 x 250 frame!

I never really saw an issue with 60kb (mainly because you can cheat the check and link an avatar uploaded elsewhere

JPG does not have transparency and even when I reduce the image size the file size is still somewhere above 60 kb.

Ohh you wanted transparency. There was always the option to upload elsewhere (like Gale said) but Steve has increased the size now so I think 100kb will be enough for most avatars xD
