Disc Jam (3D Modern day Windjammers?)

.... ...... Is this finally a modern 3D Windjammers game?
Coming to PS4 and Steam.
They are definitely capitalising on the Rocket League futuristic dance club style of look, but that doesn't bother me so as long the gameplay is good! Plus with co-op, something that Windjammers never had ....
In case some people are too young or never heard of Windjammers/Flying Power Disc , it was a very good classic arcade game for the Neo Geo system which was basically competitive air hockey/disc throwing meets fighting game. In recent years it's popularity has risen again, mostly thanks to places like giantbomb.com that would regularly feature it from time to time and wondering when the hell a modern day remake, update or whatever can be done.
Windjammers can be played on FightCade (Emulator for classic arcade games, mostly fighting and with GGPO connectivity) if anybody else would liek to have a go.
