Probably a dumb question O_O the problem with capes!

Whenever I post a model with longer hair or a cape, mainly capes or hair I try to add on a model, from the front it is invisible, why is this and how can I get it not to do that?

sounds like back face culling option?

It's so odd... I feel like that's the first thing I tried and it didn't work. It totally did though thank you!
