Site Move, Upgrade and Maintenance

Hello everyone. In four weeks I'm going to have a lot of free time and I'm looking to move the site to a new host (the same host Xentax uses) and upgrade the forum to the latest version of PHPBB. The host works pretty well with PHPBB -- as I have seen so far -- and I will continue testing it in the meantime. The site will have to go down for a day or two, and I will be sure to backup all the old stuff in case anything goes wrong lol. PHPBB 3.2.2 is a lot better than what we are using now. For one, they now have forum extensions. Chat box, forum spam checking, rules, content, and bulletin board pages are all drag and drop and they work without me having to edit a SHIT-TON of PHP code.
Probably sometime next week I'll transfer all users (but not any posts and forums, I'll explain why in a bit) so you can log into the new forum and stress test it a little bit. It is currently located at http://sticklove.com/xnalara.org/ but registrations and logins are currently disabled for now since I have yet to transfer over any data from the old forum. It's something that has to be done slow and cautiously so we don't lose anything. I think you'll agree the most recent version of PHPBB is better, but it will take me a while to perform the full upgrade as it is a lot of work to transfer over data collected over the past SIX years hahaha. It's been that long guys

In the meantime, since it'll take me at least four weeks to do the transfer, I'd appreciate your input as to any changes to the forum you'd like to see. I personally think a lot of the forums are kind of redundant and maybe reducing the number of forums and topics would be a good idea. I'll also install a bunch of extensions from the PHPBB site and we'll test them out to see what we all like and don't like. I'll post again here after I transfer all the user data over (should be sometime Tuesday or Wednesday of next week).
