We got RE2 REmake coming as well, and that is the one that will really put them to the test since we still don't know if they are going to give it the RE1-to-REmake treatment or RE4 onwards style.

I really hope they're going for the RE1 to REMake style RE2 is already more action-focused than RE1 and I think going the RE4 route will make it even more evident

Yeah, no argument on DmC which I would consider a reboot.

I've heard the chatter about RE2 I would prefer that it stay true to form and only get a light upgrade rather than overhaul, but I'm a bit concerned that it might not be the case just because the mod based on it was so popular....

Mixed feelings...

I went from potentially excited when clicking on a related article this morning to I really would love a quality Mercenaries or some form of MP experience, but this feels like budget COD... hard to say just yet.
