Newbie Model Ripping

Hey all, I'm new to this sort of thing as a whole and I figured I should probably ask for advice from more experienced people. If this isn't the right place to post this then I'm sorry.

There are models I'd like to extract myself but I struggle to follow tutorials ahha. I tried NinjaRipper and I think some models were extracted, but then I was just super confused from there :?
I'd appreciate any help that can be given, or just any advice even if it seems insignificant. I very much want to learn.

Places for model ripping are xentax and zenhax. Usually you just search for a particular game you want to extract models from, and hopefully there's a tool. I retired from extracting models so I don't know much about the current state of stuff, but it appears people are still extracting stuff looking at those forums. Sometimes I go onto deviantart and search for models I want, though the xnalara search has seen better days. I know there are places to download raw models but I don't really go to those places.

Those are very good hints ... but I think that for someone who is confused about the results of NinjaRipper or struggle to follow tutorials ... they feel lost in these places too.

DeviantART has helped a lot but unfortunately there's not a lot of specific models I'm looking for. I've downloaded all the ones available from Life is Strange 2 but there are so many more in the game I'd like to extract. I'll check some of the things you've linked, thank you!

Unfortunately didn't see anything pertaining to Life is Strange 2 specifically, but I may have overlooked. I went searching again earlier and saw "UModel" being thrown around a lot.

On DeviantArt, XenTax and ZenHax ... you will find anything you need to know.

I've downloaded UModel but every time I try to view a model it comes up with an error. I've been following tutorials and it keeps happening :?
