Re: Favourite Music Artists
I saw a-ha, and then it wasn't Take On Me. Phew!
I'm mean sure, it's a damn good song but obviously it would be typical now wouldn't it.

Re: Favourite Music Artists

some stuff i love:
-New Order
-Depeche Mode
-Radiohead
-Blur
-Suede
-Smashing Pumpkins (original lineup, not the new ones)
-Mew
-Metric
-The Cardigans
-Kula Shaker
-The Verve
-The Music
-Marion
-Starsailor
-Uh Huh Her
-IAMX

...oh wow there are still so many. the UK have so many great bands, i love them!
i also love game soundtracks, my favourite being L.A Noire, FF series and Deus EX:HR.
For random music, i like to listen to Andy Rehfeldt. you probably never heard of him before, what he does is basically he takes classic/pop music and turn them into metal, and take metal music and turn them into radio Disney, polka or reggae.and he does them very well! heres an example

Re: Favourite Music Artists
The U.K certainly gave the world a ton of stuff in the music department, and they made that very clear and evident during the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics.
I bet most British people being the stereotypical grumpy and making fun out of everything ("Taking the piss!" as we would call it ) laughed at the choices used, but I gotta say, seeing The Pet Shop Boys back with "West End Girls" gave the little kid in me a happy smile.
Every group or band always has that one song that tends to be easily associated with them.

Oh no I like the song, it just would have been the typical choice.semory wrote:Ha ha ha, if I had known it would've tortured you, I would have linked it lol!MisterHentai wrote:I saw a-ha, and then it wasn't Take On Me. Phew!
