Re: Fall 2012 Anime Series
Might as well merge this thread with the Summer 2012 one, and renamed it General Anime Thread to keep it all in place.
So yeah, Valvrave the Liberator.
Looks like this show is this decade's Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, seeing as that was like 11 years ago.
Let's see, a Sunrise production, opening song with Nana Mizuki x T.M.Revolution , all-star cast old and new who've worked previously in plenty of mecha themed shows, and a plot that contains themes eerily similar to SEED, even though it's written by the man who did Code Geass.
Nice animation quality and cute girls too.

Woohooo!
Yeah I'm currently marathoning the current episodes at the moment.
And well, there WAS a new Gundam series i.e. AGE. Still haven't even bothered to watch much of it since the artstyle and it's appeal to a younger audience put me off, but I'll eventually give it a go one day.
Still have Gundam Unicorn too but the last episode will be next spring.
But yes....
She's mighty delicious, and same voice actress as the moving thing next to my name too.

Re: The Anime Chat Haus
Gundam 00 in my mind was.....holy sheeet! Look at all them beautiful HD fireworks and pew pew lazers in space. But yeah, even that had something like frigging "Trans-Am" that was so overused too.
I'm also watching Suisei no Gargantia.
What's with this year with mecha shows that have cold blooded murdering main characters, but it's balanced out with the peaceful kawaii pretty gurls.

Re: The Anime Chat Haus
Episodes 4 & 5 of Valvrave.
Only Japan knows how to portray independant nations run by highschool kids, fan service galore.
So cheesy as hell, yet I am enjoying this.
The cutie pie computer dweller's reaction to the power cut, must make a gif of that.
