If only .... IF ONLY ...... Marvel had the rights to Fantastic Four back. :sadserah:

Not only will they do them justice, but I just want to see a good Doctor Doom for once! :(

Given the success of Doctor Strange, having Doom in the mix would be awesome and interesting.

Not only is he the bridge between the Scientific and Mystical, but as a character and villian or anti-hero when written and portrayed properly, he is a very powerful and formidable foe e.g. He can and has taken on The Avengers all by himself!

Fucking Fox! :snarage:

Still not sold on her, but the set design and look does actually look good.

I'm actually liking this over the abyssmal Garfield reboot garbage. I don't mind the Iron Man cameo, but it could be a bit too much. The final scene makes it seem like 'hey we can't sell this unless we include Iron Man in it.' :okay:

That's typical of the MCU now though, they gotta have at least one Avenger in there so the casuals will know it's connected. Besides, at least it's a fresh and different dynamic now that Stark is the father figure to him.

We still got Thor and Hulk in the next Thor film as well.

Also the Guardians 2 trailer that was earlier in the week.

Now that is the epitome of Marvel knowing how to have fun.

 that trailer was great too.

I don't have an issue with Tony being that role, or that he even shows up, it's just that the direct Spidey Iron team up so soon really makes it feel like a calculated fear tactic of not wanting the movie to fail since the last two weren't as well received, rather than it feeling like a natural inclusion. Dr. Strange didn't have to force inclusion of another Avenger, but Ant-man did. Spider-man is known to all casuals over those two, and if Dr. Strange can succeed without it, I don't see why Spiderman has to.

To be honest though, Spidey, Ant-Man and Avengers, with the way they've been written and established in the MCU (And all their historic relations in the comics), they are all connected any way so instead of beating around the bush, they may as well just dive straight into it and so far, it has been working for them.

The likes of Guardians and Dr. Strange were calculated risks for not well known properties that very clearly paid off in the end and now they are rolling with it.

So as long as the titular character is still the main focus, I don't even mind any more since it's obvious that this is the trend they are going with now (Thor and Hulk being the other).

It worked for Captain America: Civil War which was essentially Avengers-lite and on paper should've been a complete mess. Sure it's not perfect, but it still did it's job.

One very important thing I forgot to mention.

Have you noticed the racial diversity in the new Spidey especially for his school life? He's the only white dude of the lot!

His best friend, love interest and even Flash Thompson are all casted by ethnic minorities.

Can Marvel be this obvious to make a statement now?

In another universe, this Spiderman would be the Miles version.

Dang all the trailers are coming out.

To think, it all had some innocent beginnings (Rise), then it went to shit! :evillaugh:

Moral of the story, humans suck, and it's James Franco's fault! :mis:

What in the fuck ................... :pi:

Did Marvel's Civil War start a trend now with the good guys gone bad, bad guys gone good, horse shittery? Transformers and now this? :wat:

Paul Walker must be turning in his grave for damn sure if this is the extent of nonsensical crap the series is becoming.

At the rate they are going, may as well completely CGI his full character back for the entire duration on the next film since no one will notice the jank or give a shit when so much quairty storytelling and plot is there!

:wat: the fuck 2017!

Due to complications from surgery ....

RIP Bill Paxton. :runcry:

One of the few actors to be in the trifecta of Terminator, Aliens and Predator. Sucks he never got and never will get to be in James Cameron's Avatar films. :okay:
