yeah, oh wow, way back when for this game i didn't even get bone bones in... i just made an OBJ file with the bone connectivity cuz it uses that stupid ragdoll havok physics shit. hmmmm i do have to recompile though, this one was done before i fixed my DDS code (the DDS files only open in irfanview). i'll let you know how it goes, this stuff is still unpacking (takes forever using Rick's tools).

Ooooh I just saw that So I would have to recreate the bones over those lines in the obj? Should be simple since it gives you the placements xD

if this still works after rebuilding my tools, i should be able to convert to blender in about an hour.

also, i think volition is going to release modding tools in a few days or so. supposedly it's going to contain information about the file formats and stuff and should have original 3DS tools. (not sure if you will be able to import or export original models but you never know).
