Well, Hello again ladies and gentleman... I have a question about exporting.... Ummm, recently I've been working in a Kasumi meshmod (Since I got a little dissapointed for her halloween costume as a princess, I decided to make her look as The DEATH :ggl: :ggl: :ggl: :P ) and in a proper Ayane meshmod (She is a Demon..., I didn't like too much the fairy costume :( ). I still have to check certain things but, the truth is..., I exported them as obj to tweak them even more in Blender, when I try to open her in Blender nothing happens.... :? (I only see an empty space in the viewport, although I can see the name of the meshes in the outliner...).

What am I doing wrong???.

By exporting as .obj I think you lose the skeleton, not sure, I've only exported as .mesh.ascii. Do you have 3dsmax exporter script for that?

I think I have it somewhere. Have to look around. I'll see if I can make the meshmod with the .mesh.ascii .Thank you ProtocolX27

Yeah it's me again

well , someone send me a model in .dae form , i tried to load it to 3dsmax for port to xnalara but when i load it it's all broken :

Do what I do, convert it to .psk in Noesis. That always works for me

How do you setup Minibumps? I'm working with Lara who has a few different Minibumps and Masks, but I have no idea how to get them working in 3ds Max. So her lovely gloves look washed out in 3ds Max, I'm having none of that nonsense. :lol:

Can someone please post a step by step tutorial? I would be eternally grateful.

I only know how to do so in Blender... :okay: I unfortunately don't know squat about materials in 3dsmax...

Anyone know a way of adding bones to the existing skeleton.

I downloaded a cool DoA model of JannLee but wanted to add bones to the arms and body to prevent polygons from distorting and to add expression on the face. The bones currently are fine, but wanted to dable at animating in 3DS which I've done before, but nothing as complex as this :D

I can create the bone, and I can "link" it to the skeleton but it doesn't affect any polygons at all :/


Any assist would be amazing!
