Re: General Game News
Interesting to note that Resident Evil 5 is Capcom's best selling game ever, at 6.5 million units, more than the previous record holder, Street Fighter II for the SNES at 6.3 million. Although if you were to count the total sales of the different versions of SFII alone, it amounts to somewhere around 14 million.
Now if only Monster Hunter was alot more popular in the West, at least one of them would have been at the top.

Katsuhiro Harada says he'll consider porting Tekken to PC. Lets see what happens later...

Re: General Game News
Shame in-game won't look as good as her CGI though.
It would most likely be that same cartoony artstyle that they all have.
And ugh...... another MOBA. Every one wants to get into that action now.
I won't be surprised if Japan takes wind of it all, and Square-Enix does a MOBA with their franchises too, which I can see being very likely if that was the case.

Re: General Game News
Yeah, true that, but they may at least have another model if they don't reuse her StarCraft II one.
Yeah, Blizzard apparently wants more of that MOBA moneez...
Unfortunately, StarCraft is one of the only franchises I'm strangely attached to enough to cave to some of these poor business models.

Re: General Game News
Just saw the gameplay trailer of it and yeah, typical cartoony aesthetic this genre is known for. And whilst that is hardly surprising there, given that it was WarCraft that spawned DOTA, and then all the MOBA's, still, they all just pretty much look the same.
Well at least they are colourful though.

Re: General Game News
Blizzard was dumb enough to not support DotA in the first place, then Valve saw the potential and took over. now they turned 180 and want a slice of the action too

Re: General Game News
Yeah the irony, and a huge fuck up too.
You also realise how Valve have consistently backed and picked up on popular "game mods" that have since spawned into their own thing and became even bigger. I mean look at Team Fortress and CounterStrike as other proven examples.
