I was attempting to give a model a tail and this error message popped up :

"Could not attach a item to a posed character."

Does anyone know why this is occurring or how I can fix it?

File > Reset selected pose
or
Modify > Save Generic_Items, and
check 'modify armature according to the current pose', press OK
and reload model
