Psychological Horror games.

You know, with the massive influxes of action horror games today, it really makes me shrug a bit that only a handful of game studios had/have tried to make a psychological horror game.

In fact if you're going to research that specific genre, only 108 games in total that will pop up. That really means something because games like Clock Tower, Sanitorium, I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream and likes of those aforementioned games are really hard to pull off. Sure that there are some pseudo-psych horror games like Ao Oni that is made by using the most horrible idea to be put on RPG Maker but it will not hurt if we actually scare ourselves and only using our wits to get over a certain situation, right? :geek:

Well it's true there isn't lots of them being made, but then perhaps it's good, more quality and less quantity. For instance, I think we're doing great on FPS... we won't run dry anytime soon.

And luckily the horror Genre is still being explored, two games come to mind.
One freaks the ***** out of me but that's because I have a kid.

You play a Toddler A 2 year old at that, I don't even know if it's ethical or not, but you can't have more helpless and it makes me cringe I couldn't even watch the whole kickstarter video it freaked me so much.

And the other tittle is the new Alien game; Alien: Isolation hopefully they'll pull it off.

speaking of horror, what's is up with all these knock-off zombie games? dayz, warz, infestation, 7 days to die, state of decay, etc.

So was Resident Evil before they decided to go Call of Duty Black Ops Nazi Zombies with more memorable and sexier characters.
