YatterDaz!

So I was stupid and bought the PC version.

Shame Nvidia DSR doesn't seem to work. :okay: :snarage:

Couple of annoying random frame drops which is so weird given that the game actually runs really well otherwise. Seems to happen more for Nvidia GPU owners from what I've been reading. :pi:

Much quairty PC port indeed. :okay:

I believe the game defaults the res to 4k. My screen's max res is only 1080P, so once lower to that I have no frame drops at all.

One of these days when I have time again I'll mod the hell outta this game. :okay:

Even on lower resolutions it still does it and I have no idea :wtf: it is.

Simple test, Training mode, Training stage, leave it on idle and using a FPS counter, it stutter dips to 50fps every 30 seconds or whatever which is really odd. It's akin to the console versions when playing online, you can have a very smooth near perfect game, but can still get random frame jerk stutter problems. :pi:

And I recently got myself a GTX 970, more than capable enough to run this game. People with far better rigs still have the same problem.

Much quairty PC port.

And yeah I want to mod as well, but HORY SHEEET the hoops to go through. :fdat:

EDIT - Found a fix, it either works for some people or not.

It's the infamous Task Manager and Set Affinity route for those with multi-core CPUs. Just drop down to 2 cores/threads i.e. CPU 0 and 1, and that is it.

Now it is consistently smooth 60fps.

Much optimisation.

One thing I will say though is that controller support, especially for arcade fightsticks is incredibly messed up.

For starters, not having ingame menu button icons to reflect the something as standard as the 360 gamepad is really stupid and typical of the archaic nature in the port. . But at least it all buttons works as normal like it would on the 360/XBOne versions of the game.

Now when it comes to fightsticks, this is where it gets really weird.

My MadCatz 360/PC fightstick which is an official Microsoft licensed product and thus uses the official 360 pad drivers, has the Back/Select and Start button swapped with the LT and RT. Like ..... :wat: :?: . This is frustrating because of too many accidental pausing.

And then comes my Hori Real Arcade Pro V3 SA, which is a PS3/PC device, works with the controls as normal and intended (Other than Confirm and Cancel buttons being swapped).

So ...... :wtf: .

That high quairty Japan PC development!
