There is a Mass Effect model I would like to get, but it's probably fairly low priority for most modellers, so I'm prepared to pay to get it

Just to make it clear: the 'Sticklove' community/forum doesn't support this. We are already crossing certain boundaries by ripping and sharing these models, but asking money or anything similar (like 'points') in return is a definite no-no. You can do whatever you want, but don't use this forum to arrange the deal/payment. Better take it to deviantArt, indeed, people don't seem to give a crap over there. I think it would be better to close the thread now.

That is why I'm having a hard time getting commissions that don't involve official models. People are willing to pay you for a model or a render, but honestly I'm against that.

The same thing applies for meshmods. Even if we would combine two different parts creating a new character, the used parts still belong to their original creators and thus I don't feel like receiving money for such a thing.
