On PC they are in the RES folder. A bunch of bin files.
Re: Steven's Gas Machine
Thank you. Finally found them.
Re: Steven's Gas Machine
To any noobs getting a message "Failed to load texture file" in the blender console when importing the .smc files, be sure to save an empty .blend file, open it, run the script and your problems should be fixed. I wasn't able to find a fix for this anywhere but through investigation and determination I was able to find it myself.
Cheers
(also while I'm at it, anyone know any good info for re-parenting bones? I'm trying to get Lu Bu and his Red Hare from DW8XL but his arm bones are giving me a pain )

select bone to reparent, go to properties panel, should be icon with bone on it, click that, should be a dropdown somewhere to change parent.

Re: Steven's Gas Machine
Hey Semory. Any news on a proper DW9 cloth mesh fix which also fix the breakage with older models? I'm getting closer to my Fire Emblem Warriors exctration Project and would love to be able to extract those models that break on the default. (as well as other models from different games too). If you are having ILR problems I am willing to donate, since its must be pretty tough work just figuring out stuff as I barely can find help elsewhere on these kind of model files, offering a commission price or not...

Re: Steven's Gas Machine
With the latest DLC from Fire Emblem Warriors, Olivia fails to import to blender, something about joint groups.
[kinda late on reporting this issue, since I did it on the day the DLC came out]

Re: Steven's Gas Machine
btw, it will be a minimum 4-5 weeks before I can do anything with DW/FEW, etc. currently working on a game development project so i'm quite busy, but in the process I am rewriting the SMC importer -- or rather actually getting rid of it in favor of a new mesh format for blender 2.79 that can also import animations and stuff. when I have the time I intend to also start working on those g1a and g2a files to see if animations are extractable as well.
